| A screenplay written by late rapper Tupac Shakur is set to be the latest in a line of US movies with a rap connection. The artist's mother Afeni will produce the screenplay, entitled Live 2 Tell, which will focus on an inner-city black youth who eventually turns his back on crime. The film comes on the back of the successful 8 Mile and the 50 Cent biopic Get Rich or Die Tryin', which will be released in December. Tupac was no stranger to the big screen himself, having starred in films such as Gang Related and Gridlock'd in the mid '90s. He was also the subject of the Oscar nominated 2003 documentary film Tupac: Resurrection. The Tupac movie, which is yet to be cast, enters production in March 2006.
