| Sugababes hit top spot in the album chart and remained number one in the singles chart to make it a good weekend for the trio. They held on to their number one single rank with Push the Button to make it three weeks at the top. The top three in the official UK top 40 singles remained unchanged with Sugababes being followed by Robbie Williams and the Pussycat Dolls, a trend mirrored somewhat in ringtones where the same people make up the top three. There were just two new entries in the top ten singles, with U2's All Because of You and Baby Goodbye by Friday Hill completing the top five. Former pop-band favourites Lee Ryan (formerly of Blue) and Lisa Scott-Lee (formerly of Steps) just missed out, their singles debuting at 12 and 13 respectively. Sugababes' Taller in More Ways flew into number one on the album chart, knocking Franz Ferdinand off the top. The Scottish rockers dropped all the way to fifth, with James Blunt's Back to Bedlam hopping back up to second to make it 17 weeks on the chart for the You're Beautiful singer. Music legends Paul Weller and Mariah Carey also had new releases in the top ten albums.
