It's back to the future for the Q awards as Oasis dominate the list of nominations.

The Manchester rockers have shown a stunning return to form bagging more nominations than anyone else for this year's Q magazine awards.

The band are up for Best Act In The World Today - which they first won nine years ago - as well as Best Album, Best Live Act, Best Video and Best Track.

Other groups in contention for the Best Act award are Coldplay, U2, Green Day and Muse.

The awards take place on October 10th at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Central London
