NSYNC to launch greatest hits album

Date: 20/09/2005

Former stars of the pop world NSYNC are to release a greatest hits album this autumn.

According to the band's official website, the album is to include 11 tracks from their award winning, multi-platinum albums.

Featuring the hits Girlfriend and Bye Bye Bye, the album will go on sale from October 25th.

Bursting onto the pop scene in 1998, the group, which includes the now hugely successful solo star Justin Timberlake, went on to have five years at the peak of their industry.

The enormous popularity of NSYNC was clear from their No Strings Attached stadium tour – on the first day alone one million tickets were sold.

The five young band members from Orlando, Florida, whose first hit in 1998 was I Want You Back, went on to break a number of world records, selling nearly 30 million records in the US and 42 million worldwide.
