Strong front-runner for the title of most-hated celebrity partner Kevin Federline (AKA Mr Britney), has claimed that his forthcoming debut album is the product of a tortured soul.

Ferrari-driving, "I married a millionaire" Kev told MTV that the record will take listeners to the heart of his pain and reveal the depths of the anguish that is living in Beverly Hills.

"I'm pouring my soul out right here," he told MTV. "It's not like I think this is a joke, these are my emotions… everything in the past two years, where I haven't said anything, I haven't talked to anyone, I've held it all in - so I can do this."

Britney, understandably, apparently wants her husband to have his moment in the limelight and will not be casting her shadow over the project.

"Maybe not on this record, we're not sure. We have done songs together that sound really good but I wanna hold onto them for a little while," he added.

"People have to get to know me a little more, so when we get together and do something they will respect it that much more."

Oh Kev. We respect you as much now as we ever have or ever will.
