Oasis front man Liam Gallagher and Welsh songstress Charlotte Church are set to become a couple – for a Pepsi ad.

The Daily Star has revealed that the company want Liam and Charlotte to team up for their latest campaign, where Liam is the experienced pro and Charlotte the up and coming youngster.

"We've always got safe, family friendly stars to endorse Pepsi in the past, like Britney Spears, Beyonce Knowles, Cindy Crawford and Blue," a source told the paper.

"Charlotte is young, sexy and fun-loving, while Liam is an older, cool rock star," the source added, hinting at the need for something different.

Charlotte has certainly been in the news a lot recently, and Liam has certainly never been one to dodge the attention of the media.

The Oasis front man is back on top with his band after scooping two awards at the recent Q Awards and having a hit single, The Importance of Being Idle.
