Catherine Tate's hilarious schoolgirl character, Lauren, has found a high profile fan.

The character whose catchphrase, Am I Bothered? has become a hit ringtone, is one thing that pop megastar Kylie Minogue can't stop laughing at.

The pint-sized singer's sister Dannii revealed to the magazine Closer that as Kylie undergoes treatment for cancer, the Catherine Tate Show has become something of a fixture on her TV screen.

"We've been loving Catherine Tate for a while now and we can both do brilliant impressions of the schoolgirl," Dannii said.

"It is really keeping her going right now. She's overwhelmed by all the support from friends and fans."

Kylie is known around the world for her remarkable music career, which began with I Should Be So Lucky back in 1988.

In the last 17 years, the songstress has had some worldwide hits such as Spinning Around, Can't Get You Out of My Head and most recently, Giving You Up.
