| Crazy Frog has helped a mother and daughter team win a radio show competition. The Edge, a New Zealand radio station, ran a competition to see which of three mother-child teams could listen to the Axel F Crazy Frog song on repeat for the longest. Mother Emma Lomas and her seven-year-old daughter Rachel were the successful team, and were delighted to scoop the NZ$3000 (£1,180) cash prize. "I come to the end of my week after I've paid for my three children with NZ$10 max, so if people are going to think I'm being crazy over three grand then that's up to them, but to me NZ$3,000 is a lot of money," Emma said. The pair listened to the smash hit a total of 1,500 times in a caravan where the song blasted out over speakers and the only thing on the television was the Crazy Frog video. Tabatha Allen, one of the other mothers involved, told her local paper the Waikato Times that everyone was having a great time: "It was awesome. It was a whole lot easier than we ever thought it would be." Ms Lomas said she would like to spend her share of the money on a hot rod, whereas Rachel said she would like to get herself a brand new mobile phone.
