Eminem is set to release a greatest hits album, sparking rumours that the rapper may be set to retire from the music business.

The album, called Curtain Call, will be released in early December and will, according to Billboard, include two new tracks as well as all his hits and well-known favourites.

Eminem told Billboard: "I have some songs that a lot of people like. I have some songs that only I like. This album is obviously for the 'lot' of people."

He recently took part in a tour along with his prodigy 50 Cent, called Anger Management, but had to leave the tour early due to health problems.

The rapper has had hit after hit with songs such as Lose Yourself and Without Me, and has also been successful acting in the movie 8 Mile.

The star's record label has been reported as saying that Eminem has been working on the album since summer, and with a title like Curtain Call, he could be set for a grand finale.
