Sugababes have replaced Pussycat Dolls at the top of the Official UK Top 40 with Push the Button.

The Dolls had their three-week spell at the peak of pop ended by the new entry from Sugababes, who have previously hit top spot with Freak Like Me, Round Round and Hole in the Head.

It was a double celebration for Sugababe Keisha, who also celebrated her 21st birthday on Friday.

Elsewhere in the singles chart, there were three other new entries in the top ten, with Liberty X, Charlotte Church and Russian girls Tatu getting in on the action.

Kanye West's Gold Digger slides into fourth place in the official singles chart, with another ringtone favourite, Sean Paul, remaining at number three.

In the album chart, Katie Melua flew into number one with Piece By Piece, displacing David Gray's Life in Slow Motion from the top.

Jamie Cullum returned to the album chart with Catching Tales, no doubt hoping to emulate the hugely successful Twentysomething.
