Ringtone favourite Crazy Frog is set to be a top Christmas seller, experts say.

The revelation comes from the Toy Retailers Association, which has announced that the Crazy Frog plush toy from Vivid is one of its Hot Dozen Dream Toys for 2005.

The association decides every year which toys are set to be the festive season's must-haves, and this year the frog has hopped into the top twelve.

Released this autumn, the frog will be joined by toy versions of Nessie the Dragon, Sweety Chick and Party Bee.

The plush toy frog stands ten inches tall and not only looks like the mobile phone great, he also sings the original ringtone, which is sure to delight parents and children across the country.

The frog is in direct competition with previous favourites such as Furby, Monopoly, and Roboraptor (from the people who brought you 2004's favourite toy Robosapien).

It was announced last week that Crazy Frog is set to battle it out with some of the biggest names in pop in a bid to be Christmas number one.
