Michael Jackson has been hanging out with British pop stars, according to a newspaper.

The self-proclaimed King of Pop knows plenty of people in the music business he could hang out with, but not many would have expected ex-Busted star James Bourne to be one of them.

But believe it or not, the Sun reports that the Son of Dork band member was invited through a friend, Ashley Moore, who danced for Jackson at the 1996 Brit Awards.

The paper says that Bourne and his buddy stayed with Jacko on Friday and Saturday night at the Dorchester Hotel.

Bourne experienced great success with Busted, having hit songs such as Crash the Wedding and What I Go To School For, has now apparently been invited to Jackson's Neverland ranch.

Jackson, 47, is a ringtone favourite who is known the world over for such mega-hits as Billie Jean, Bad and Black or White and is in England to record a benefit song for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
