| Rapper 50 Cent has told parents across America that the new game featuring him and branded with his name, 50 Cent: Bulletproof, is not bad for their children and that it can actually teach them a thing or two. The game has been rated as "mature" in the US, meaning that it is unsuitable for under-17s on the grounds that it contains blood, gore and sexual themes. But 50 told Reuters that kids could learn a lot from the game: "Just because it is rated mature doesn't mean you [parents] shouldn't buy it for your kids. Play the game and explain to them what they are playing. " And 50's pearls of wisdom over child influences did not stop there: "The person that's influenced by a video game can be influenced by anything," he said. The rapper has a child himself, and is obviously well aware of the threats from modern day society, but said that without things such as video games there would be "no entertainment" in case it influenced "somebody who's crazy". 50's move into the video games market follows the release of his film Get Rich or Die Tryin' in the US at the beginning of November, and confirmation that G-Unit Books - his publishing house - is to begin writing books.
